They were on the job immediately and pursued a logical plan of drying us in, removing the tree, and making the necessary repairs inside and out. From the floor to the roof, their workmanship restored everything to its former condition, or better.

How long have you been in business?
Purofirst of Gwinnett was founded in October 1998 as a simple restoration company. We have since grown to become a full-fledged restoration and renovation company that can provide you with complete kitchen remodels, whole-home remodels, basement conversations, bath remodels, and full-service restorations for fire, water, and storm damage.
How long will it take Purofirst of Gwinnett to respond to my emergency?
Emergency response can be critical in mitigating additional damages in a home. Purofirst of Gwinnett commits to being onsite within 4 hours of receipt of an emergency claim unless other terms are negotiated at the time of the call. In the case of a catastrophic event, emergencies will be handled in the order that they are received.
How long does the drying equipment have to be on the premises?
The majority of the homes that we complete drying services are dried within a 3 day period, though we do run into special circumstances where drying of a home can take longer. Moisture readings are documented throughout the drying process and equipment is left on site until readings verify that the home is completely dry.
How do I know if I have mold damage?
Mold is usually determined by visual inspection. However, the levels of mold and what type of mold is present can only be determined by a lab test. If you believe there may be mold present, it is best to allow us to complete a visual inspection first, to determine the necessary steps moving forward.
Will Purofirst of Gwinnett work directly with my insurance company?
Yes! Even though Purofirst of Gwinnett is contracted directly with the homeowner and/or insured, we do find that the claims process is handled faster and more efficiently if we stay in constant contact with your insurance company’s adjuster.
Do I need to contact the insurance company for payment or will you handle it?
It is ultimately the insured’s responsibility to deal with the receipt of payments from their insurance company. However, Purofirst of Gwinnett prefers being a part of the payment process and will gladly assist any of our customers with confirmation and receipt of payments.
What is my deductible, and to whom is it paid?
The deductible is the insured’s financial responsibility for the claim. Your deductible amount is removed directly from the claim settlement by the insurance company. This amount is paid directly to the contractor (such as Purofirst) from the insured.
Is Purofirst of Gwinnett licensed, bonded, and insured?
Purofirst of Gwinnett is fully insured and bonded and is a state-licensed contractor in Georgia and South Carolina.
