As a family-owned and operated business, Purofirst of Gwinnett is proud to provide a family-environment for its staff and employees. We understand the importance of togetherness and community and actively promote these values at all times, whether or not we are “on the clock.”
It’s not part of the job at Purofirst, it’s a part of who we are.
At Purofirst, we recognize the importance of the little things. We see the difference a small action can make for someone. Because of that, we are also active in positively affecting the environment outside of our office and in our local community.
Our local community involvement includes:
-Monetarily supporting a number of local school sports teams and clubs
-Special Olympics of Rockdale County
-Jerseys for a metro-Atlanta Men’s Softball team
-Yearly Global Day of Service
For 2016’s day of service, we completed some repairs and renovation work at the LifeBridge Church of Between, GA. The year before, we did the same for a pregnancy resource center. Our skilled craftsmen and office staff all come out and work until the job is completed. All labor and materials are on us for these projects!
-Upcoming charity home repairs, including new siding, for a young couple experiencing hardships
-Assisting with other smaller initiatives, donations, and volunteering
Our Office Community
In order to keeps spirits positive at all times, we engage in certain ‘rituals’ at the office. There are no formal rules about these rituals; we continue them simply because they positively affect our office atmosphere-
We celebrate milestones, no matter how large or small. We appreciate and thank each other for the little things, such as re-filling the water in the coffee maker. We leave “feel better soon!” notes on desks for those who are sick or having a bad day. Sometimes we cheer each other up with potted flowers, even though our track record for keeping them alive is not very good (no green thumbs here). For holidays and certain seasons, a number of the office staff are always decorating with great style! This fall, we even had Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer to celebrate the season.
